Feral and the Bad Decisions

Feral and the Bad Decisions

One faerie promised to save a dying neighborhood. She didn't expect the cost.

Tetra Dupont knows real magic means showing up daily to rebuild what others abandoned. In Port Smogdale—where violence is constant and hope rationed—she's creating Caerleon: sanctuary for paranormals and humans. Housing. Safe spaces. Proof that broken lives matter.

Someone decides that sanctuary is a threat worth eliminating.

As violence escalates and her residents become targets, Tetra discovers that the danger runs deeper than street gangs and random crime. Systemic corruption ties to shadowy forces determined to keep Port Smogdale broken.

Tetra must navigate impossible choices: protect her vision of sanctuary or protect the vulnerable people she's brought into it. Hold her ground or watch everything she's built burn.

The question isn't whether Tetra can fight back—it's whether fighting back will destroy the very thing she's trying to save.

How far will you go to prove that broken places deserve resurrection?

About Renée Jaggér
A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.

My pets...
I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.

What I'm working on...
I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.
