Today is May Day! Did you know May 1 marks the beginning of summer in many cases? It used to be celebrated by gathering wildflowers and green branches, weaving floral garlands, crowning a May Queen (sometimes with a male companion), and setting up a Maypole, May Tree, or May Bush, around which people dance. Now I’ve heard that most children don’t know about May Day or Maypoles and that’s a catastrophe.

We start May off with a little bit of a slow week, which isn’t  a bad thing, right? I have 3 amazing books launching this week and one of those is already out! That’s pretty sweet for a Monday!

This Week’s New Releases

Title: The Pixie Squad
Series: Pixie Rebels Book 4
Release Date: 05/01/2023

Z Thornbrook and her pixie cousins thought things would be more exciting since they were now Pixie MPs. Not so far.

They’re stationed in a cramped little office in a military police station on post doing mundane, boring tasks. Answering phones, directing calls, and taking care of paperwork.

There’s a method to the badness. They have to prove they can be responsible when they’re not battling magical threats alongside Alpha Team.

Can they convince their captain they can roll with his command?

Let’s find out. Their Captain just gave the tiny but fierce soldiers new orders for low-priority policing calls around the post. It’s a start.

Our favorite pint-sized military with wings seize the chance to hit the streets and enforce the law.

Will they stay on the straight and narrow, or will they risk their newfound trust to pursue their own secret mission? What if they have a good reason?

Join Z and her mischievous band of magical cousins in this fast-paced, action-packed adventure, as they navigate the challenges of police work, confront their past, and prove that even the smallest of heroes can make a big difference.

All Julie wants is one date with Taylor that doesn’t end in a fight for their lives…

Too bad for them, the Dark Moon League is planning to strike at the heart of Avalon.

Julie must step up her game if she’s going to be part of the solution to the rebellion. She didn’t expect her career growth to involve a return to the classroom.

What can a covert Lunar Fae do when her life and her magic are spinning out of control?

Lean on her friends, of course! Luckily for Julie, Bianca and Morgan have her back while she’s finding her feet with both her emerging powers and the responsibility of leading her unit.

Can she learn to control her new abilities in time to prevent total disaster? Or will all OPMA’s efforts be eclipsed by the Dark Moon?
