Although Artemisia has secured the portal from Earth, she still has a long way to go to make sure all of the humans and dragons under her care never have to face the enemy again.
The corruption doesn’t give up. It’s relentless and it wants this planet as well. Can Arty stop it in its tracks and protect all the innocent lives it threatens?
Her team is growing more powerful, even humanity, showing they can begin to learn how to use magic, but that comes with risks of its own. She’s already almost lost a critical soldier to it. Can she take the risk of losing another?
The people want to live in peace, but they must protect the planet they live on and those around them if they’re going to have any chance of surviving. But everyone has personalities that clash and different desires and opinions of what safety means.
It’s up to Artemisia to get them all to work together.
