They say mountains don’t rise without earthquakes.
After last spring, the last thing anyone wants is either of those. Unfortunately, it seems like we’re getting both.
This summer, we’re building our dorm. A specialist in extrahuman contracting is overseeing and Aventurine section is helping. Still, we’ll work all the way up to Welcome Weekend.
As if that wasn’t enough, a friend who helped save our school from sabotage last year is dying. The threat is still out there, the culprit uncaught. Good thing the faculty closed campus. Too bad that’s only for the summer.
There’s no telling what autumn will bring. But how can we prepare when all we’ve done lately is work through grief and grieve through work?
