Change the view, change your mind.

I’m always expected to adjust myself to fit. Sometimes it works but mostly I just make it look good. At first I thought I was alone in this. Then, I notice Eshed doing the same thing.

The water dragon says he’s “only legally blind” but he gets lost without a seeing eye dragonet and makes dad jokes about eyes. Still, he managed to catch a knowledge-granting wisp during winter break.

Our class needs a break now. We still haven’t figured out how to help a sick friend, or figured out who terrorized campus last year with a contaminant. And now there’s a new one.

Eshed might just have the solution to all those problems.

If a new perspective makes new possibilities, why don’t we try looking from his?

About D.R. Perry
D.R. Perry writes tongue-in-cheek Urban Fantasy, noir Alternate History, and YA Paranormal with cute magical critters. She lives with her husband, child, and dog in Rhode Island where all her books are set.

Although she's not a native New Englander, once up north she got so inspired she couldn't leave. A wild Northern Muse attacked. D.R. used Typing; it was Super Effective. This is one geeky author who loves writing for the sense of adventure and wonder. In her books, you'll find real characters, fantastic worlds, and a handful each of humor and hope.

D.R. hopes you have as much fun reading her books as she did writing them.
