Undead Alternatives

Daemons, Necromancers, and Yetis. It's been one tough year for Philadelphia.

Professor Watson - with major assistance from friends and allies - defeated and destroyed the lich Malifa in a titanic battle, securing the known fragments of the Demon Codex along the way. It looked like things might finally get back to normal.

But that would just be too easy

Complications arise when a lawyer informs Watson and his girlfriend Trixie that Malifa has left them a fortune in his will, as well as more than a few questions to keep them occupied.

And then a new professor arrives.

Without consulting Watson, his Dean has brought in a guest lecturer to his department of demonic languages, one with expertise in controversial magic capable of exploiting infinite parallel timelines. Having just defeated Malifa, will this new mage be a potential ally for Watson or a fresh danger, and are her loyalties as divided as the fabric of reality she controls?

It would be more than enough for Watson and his magic-wielding friends to solve Malifa’s riddles and keep an eye on the newcomer, but other powers have begun to circle, secret societies and government entities who are playing a vaster game from the shadows.

Join Professor Derrick Watson in a magical confrontation that threatens to shake not just his world, but countless parallel timelines as well!

About Brian Thorne

I was 12 and sitting up in a tree in Colorado. I had a copy of Dragons of Autumn Twilight in my hands and I was at peace. Thank you Weis, Hickman, and every other author of fantasy and sci-fi that I have encountered since!

I loved stories then and I still do. Now I hope to provide some of that joy and escapism to readers of my own. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
