Penthia is still trying to find out where the enemy of the Protectorate came from and how she can stop it once and for all. She never expected to find her answer while asleep.
Taking her deep into a dream world, a figure waits for her on a barren land deep in the corrupted territory. The voice calls to her. A voice older than the Protectorate, summoning her toward an answer the council refuses to give. But can Penthia follow in the waking world? Can this mysterious messenger be trusted?
What speaks to her in her dreams isn't the corruption she's been fighting. It's so much more. Something that walked her path long before she did, reached for impossible power, and shattered the galaxy in the reaching. Is this being to blame for the entire war?
Not sure if she’s being called into a trap or given the key she needs to unlocking her own power and reversing the hold the corrupted have on life, Penthia must choose where to lead her warriors.
But if she keeps walking the path, will she save the Protectorate, or lose herself somewhere none of them can reach?
Until very recently Talia went by the name Jess Mountifield, but she's currently going through the legal process of changing her name and all sorts of things associated with it.
